Architect | Founder

Aspen Thorstenson is the founder of CREATE d+d Architects and a licensed architect with a passion for turning ideas into well-crafted spaces. With experience across South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa, Aspen has successfully completed multiple projects specializing in multifamily housing and commercial design. Having also served as a mayor, Aspen’s ability to blend creative problem-solving with practical solutions has made her a trusted partner for clients. She’s known for her laid-back, yet results-driven approach, ensuring every project runs smoothly and stays on track.

JUSTIN OLESON

Architect | Partner

Justin Oleson brings 18+ years of experience in architecture to CREATE d+d Architects. A licensed architect in South Dakota and Wyoming, Justin started his career at RSA, where he worked his way up from intern to partner. With a focus on building strong, lasting relationships with clients, he’s delivered successful projects in a range of sectors, from industrial to religious. Justin’s approach is grounded in collaboration and thoughtful design, and he’s excited to continue serving his loyal clients with CREATE d+d with meaningful, innovative designs.
